7 Temples in 3 days

I know my title sounds a little like The Nails song "88 lines about 44 Women". But it was nothing like that.

I got to go to Utah this weekend with the Laurels in our ward. I kinda went as the photographer and the hostess. All 8 girls and us 3 leaders stayed at my Dads. We had such a great time. On Saturday we went to the Draper Temple open house, then onto the Jordan River Temple, and up to the Oquirrh temple which is still under construction. Then we headed for Provo and saw the temple there. I had never been to that temple before. Very 70's. Then we dropped the girls at BYU and let them experience campus a little with Lauren Noorda. We met up with them and went bowling. It was a great day. On Sunday the girls headed to Music and the Spoken word at the Conference Center. Then they did Temple Square. After lunch they headed for Mt Timp Temple and, the best part of the trip, a bunch of Priests to have dinner with. They were in heaven. I stayed behind to spend a little time with my family and have Gracie a Birthday party.

We all got up early Monday and headed home. We made a quick stop in St George to make that Temple our 7th. It was so much fun. I really had a great time getting to know all of them. Thanks guys for letting me go.

Thanks for letting us steal Gracie while you did your temple tour. We just sat and watched her all day.

That sounds like so much fun. How blessed we are to have so many temples right within our reach when so many people dont even have one.

Sounds like a great trip, but I'm shocked Jill - did you actually step foot on BYU campus??? Andrew would be so proud :)

Why is it that you did not also have them visit the U? Don't answer. I already know.... :) --Andrew (who else?)
