We were riding last night and all of a sudden there was a desert tortoise crossing the road in front of us! A kind lady stopped in her car and carried him back into the desert. I knew they existed here in the desert. I just thought they lived way out in the desert. Not so close to home. He was pretty cute. About the size of a basketball. A first for me that's for sure.

I would love to come and do the tour de st george in october. I'll plan on it! It would be lots of fun to see you and catch up.
Where were you riding when you saw it? We saw bunnies crossing on Grand Teton tonight on our way to dinner.
