I decided yesterday why I was only given 4 kids to raise and not 11. Somehow we ended up with that many kids sitting with us at church yesterday. Between a funeral and a quick trip to Utah, I had 2 Kempton's, 3 Nish's, 1 Ehlert (I don't even know how he ended up with us) 1 non-member neighbor, and 4 Johnson's. Only 2 parents!! I thought it was fine until the man sitting next to us got up and moved. I don't care, I don't even think he is in our ward. I have never seen him before. We did pretty good. Aaron had a 7:00am meeting, so I knew I was on my own. We got everything ready we could the night before. We were actually all ready 20 min. early. An obvious answer to my prayers. Now the tricky part, getting them all to church. Aaron came home just in time, so, two cars full of kids, and we were on our way. I only wish I had a picture of us all sitting there in Sacrament meeting.

Poor jill. This is what my mom looked like every sunday of her life. except it was only 9 kids. It's a good thing your kids are so good.
Now you are making me feel guilty about sending my 2 kids with my neighbor every week!!!
You guys are so good you should have 11 of your own. By the way, Troy said it doesn't matter to him on the scuba diving. He would forego the scuba diving to hang out with Aaron.
Just be glad you only had to sit with 11 kids and not listen to Rick Stevenson bear his "testimony" yesterday. He was up there for so long the Bishop had to ask him to sit down. Pretty pathetic, huh?
Love you
Even Taylor was counting during sacrament and said, "Mom the Johnson's have 11 kids today!" I thought everyone was well behaved. It was actually very cute to look over and see you sitting with 11 kids, especially since about 9 of them are blonde and they all blended in so well together!! Kudos to you :)
You're freakin' nuts! Although thank goodness for people like you that will take other people's kids. It makes life much easier for them.
What troopers you guys are!! When I looked behind me and saw that the only parent sitting there was you 2 rows back I thought YOU'RE CRAZY 11 kiddos in sacrament good luck!! But you didnt need any luck, all of the kids, I thought were pretty good:) If that guy thought that was distracting, he needs to sit by me and I have just the 3!!
So that was you making all the noise behind us! I didn't want to be rude and turn around and stare. . . Just kidding. That is great of you guys to take on 11 kids. Ella was so noisy we had to spend practically the whole 3 hour block in the halls.
My friend is having her 11th soon. I just can't imagine doing that everyday.
How funny! You can do anything Jill. I can barely handle my own two kids each week. Alan is in the bishopric now and so I sit by myself and it feels like we are a circus each week. You'll have to give me some pointers!
My parents always made us sit on 2 short rows, parents behind and if you got loud you suddenly felt a tweek of your hair. Ther's your hint for next time you decide to be brave!! I think 5 is hard- 11- ugg!
Church would be one of the only places that wouldn't look out of the ordinary!
Jill, If I was going to leave my kids in someones hands it would surely be yours. I knew if anyone could do it, you could. Thanks for taking two of my squirts! It sounds like they are better during sacrament for you than they are for me. Can they sit with you next Sunday?
To Aaron....did the sacrament run out on your row?
I only had two extra with me this week. Seven seemed like a lot to me, (under the age of 8). I was happy to hand them back to their parents
