Santa?

So, I took Gracie to see Santa at the mall the other day. The line was short, and bonus, if you got your picture with Santa you got a 20% off coupon to Gymboree!!!! So, I decided it would be fun, plus I was feeling a little guilty that she didn't even get to see Santa for her first Christmas? What do you think? Do you think she loved him? Yea, me too!!!

Yesterday, McKinley had her violin concert at Lauren's. She played Deck the Halls, and We Wish you a Merry Christmas. She did a great job. It was the best kind of concert, two students, 30 min including refreshments. That is my kind of recital.

Carter also had a performance tonight. It was a school thing. I don't know really what to call it. They sang but the songs were all part of a play. It was really good. He was supposed to play the piano for one of the songs they were singing, but at the last minuet the teacher decided not to have him play. We were a little relieved.
We are now done with recitals and concerts (can you hear the Hallelujah Chorus being sung in the background?). Now if we can make it through the school parties, I will be so happy. Speaking of Hallelujah Chorus, one of my most favorite things at Christmas is hearing my parents ward choir. They always sing the Hallelujah Chorus. This is no ordinary ward choir. I think they have to hold try outs. Just Kidding. When they go up to sing in Sacrament meeting, only the visitors are left in the congregation. They totally rock. I have missed it the last few years, and been tempted to listen to them over Meg's cell phone, but that would probably be inappropriate. This year I get to be there to hear them. I can't wait. So, Mom and Dad, warm up your voices.

That is too funny--nice Gymboree bribe for you! You're making me feel bad as a mom because we don't take the kids to see Santa....Mason has never seen him.

Too bad you won't be here on
Sunday---Andrew and I are now speaking! Yikes!!!
