Returning Feelings

I am headed to Utah today. We have a lot of wedding business to do in 2 short days. Dresses, pictures, patterns, material, midnight Mexican food runs. I am glad we will be so busy.

As I told Aaron goodbye this morning a rush of familiar emotions came back. Back to this summer when every weekend it was goodbye for the week. I am a little apprehensive about the emotions I am going to feel when I get there. We felt them all this summer. Good ones, mostly. It feels weird to be going there and taking my motherly role with me. When my Mom was here I got to kinda leave it behind. I have accomplished a huge hurdle, I know she isn't going to be there. My mind has made itself up that she isn't there. Finally. But, that is where the emotions are coming from. I know the minute I get there it will be fine, it is all the anticipation.

So, I will put aside the anticipation, apprehensiveness, tears, and emotions (maybe) and focus on the task at hand. WEDDING!!!!! I am so excited.

ME TOO!!

She is still here, I still feel her. It's actually very comforting. It's dad you have to worry about now... :) Oh, and you can't take off the motherly hat, because I need you to wear it this weekend!!

What could be more fun than wedding dress shopping when it's not your money you are spending! Enjoy this special time with Meg.
