I am finally getting to my Labor Day post. We had a great time in Hanna, Utah with Grandma June's family. Some we haven't seen since we moved to Las Vegas. It was great to visit and get to know each other better. Here is a day by day play.
Saturday
- Trusted the GPS (named Miley by the girls) to get us from Kamas to Hanna. It certainly did. We wanted to take Wolf Creek pass. We did. We ended up on a dirt road for 2 hours, and it finally put us out onto Wolf Creek, for 12 miles. It was actually a very nice drive. We saw trees, lots of big quakies and lots of pine trees. Stuff we don't get a lot of in Vegas.
- Ate lots of raspberries, Carrots and Apples from Grandpa and Cathy's garden. We had everything fresh from a garden for dinner. Pot roast with onions, potatoes, carrots and corn. Yum-O.
- Sewed scripture bags with Cathy. They were so fun. Oh Lauren, Marilyn would be so proud.
- Feed the cows.
Sunday
- Got up early and got ready for church.
- We truly looked like investigators. Aaron forgot his church clothes so he wore jeans and a Yellow shirt that he tried to disguise with a black jacket. I put a new dress on that I hadn't wore yet, and it was so short my G's totally were hanging out. So I had to jack them up. We were late and sat in the back. It was a nice Sacrament meeting.
- When we got back to our cabins it started to rain. And Rain. It stopped long enough to get All the beds situated and then it started again. All night long.
Monday
- Still raining.
- Packed up our stuff and got the heck out of there.
- Drove the right way this time, but hit a huge blizzard.

Wow! I was wondering how the Ranch attendees did this weekend (Karla & Ted). Probably about the same as you guys. Where was that blizzard???
That looks like a nice end of Summer trip. The blizzard part, not so much. Oh, I don't want that to come yet. I'm not ready! I'm freezing here just lookin' at it.
Too bad there's no picture of your sunday attire! Sounds like a great but wet family weekend!
I cannot believe that my mad music trivia skillz did not make the play-by-play. I am so disappointed! --Andrew
So fun! I miss Gracie. I miss all of you, but I miss Gracie. She always smells good.
So how long have you been investigating the church? That is so funny! Miss you guys!
Wow, how neat! I love to sew. The snow looks nice from where we live! I love family get-togethers.
You sure have spent a lot of time driving between Las Vegas and Utah this summer. Your most recent vacay looked fun. Bet the kids loved the blizzard, you don't get much of those in Vegas.
Bailee and I saw a lady with her garments hanging out like a mile or more. You could so tell she was trying to pass them off as leggins. You should have tried that.
