I am a homemaker!

Guess what I did today? I learned how to make wheat bread. I used my food storage wheat that I have had since 1998. I am so excited!! A couple ladies in our ward do it every week, so they decided to share their talents with the rest of us. For that, I am very thankful. Now I want a wheat grinder and a Bosch.

I have the same dish towels! I love Williams-Sonoma. In about 15 years I'm going to buy the whole store. Really. Even the espresso machine. Then I will make wheat bread, too!

What in the wide world of sports are you going to do with 6 loaves of bread? --Andrew

Good work on the bread. It looks gorgeous! I think you still have about 20 more years to use the rest of your wheat- good luck. We moved all of ours with us and I have been grinding wheat and making bread regularly too. Yours looks better than mine. Good Job!

That is so funny! Our enrichment night this week is someone showing us how to use all our wheat to make bread!! What a coincidence!
Anyway, your bread looks yummy! I can almost smell it from here! Love you All

Maybe I should ban my husband from posting comments :)

The bread looks so yummy. I have been coveting a Bosch mixer for years now. Someday....

Im with Andrew. What are you going to do with all of that bread??? You should of just asked your forvorite father in law how to make it. That is one thing he does know how to do.

That's funny, we made bread (wheat and white) with my mom this week. I wanted to learn so she taught me. She has a wheat grinder and uses it a lot. She makes waffles and all sorts of stuff.

What's the "wheat grinder" of which you speak?

I like a mix of white and wheat flour for my bread. Yummy, with just a touch of healthy.

But then I drench it in butter. There goes the healthy.

But good job for you. Or, as a famous family member would say, "Good on ya", ha ha.

Hey Darlin! Cool finding you on here!. Congrats on the bread. Scary about the kidnapper. It's sooo sad. I remember walking to school through an alley and never being scared, uh! Have a great start to you week!

I wouldn't know the FIRST thing about making bread. I attempted to make Instant Pudding this weekend, and screwed that up. I'm serious, it turned out like snot!

Anyway, the bread looks awesome!

Jill--you must not have been listening. Elder Ballard said nothing about being nice to one's wife's friends. Don't put words in an apostle's mouth. I know they do that in Utah, but not here in the real Zion.

Having said that, I do apologize for questioning the wisdom of baking multiple loaves of bread. I HOLD MYSELF IN CONTEMPT! And I am just kidding with you. Rule #1, don't take Andrew very seriously.
