The last day of our trip we spent the whole day at the beach. The kids loved it more than we thought. We originally put enough change in the meter to last 2 hours. We ended up going back two more times to add money. Gracie is definitely a beach bum. She would put her face down in the sand until it was all over her face. Then if a little got in her mouth she just chewed it up. It was fun to watch her play in it.
The kids originally thought they didn't want to get wet. It lasted about 5 waves. One wave took them all down. It was a little chilly but they didn't care.
Carter got really brave toward the end. He was out as far as he could reach. The waves would slam into him and he loved it. We didn't put sunblock on anyone except Gracie, because we are smart like that. Aaron's legs are swollen so bad he can hardly walk. The are blistered and oozing stuff. All shoulders are sunburned and even though I put sunblock on Gracie twice, she still got it on her head and nose. I hope I don't have to go to the Dr for anything for a week or so, or I am in BIG trouble.
We had such a good trip, Thanks Jill, Chad, Ashly, Kayt and the never forgettable Hanna, for being our travel companions. Good Times!!!

We loved our time at the beach - we definitely plan on going again! We should all go in together on a beach rental :)
Loved the pictures. Sorry about the sunburn, but it's so cold and cloudy here, I can't really sympathize with you. Except maybe Aaron's legs, Sorry. Gracie takes after her cousin, Madison, eating sand and all!!! Remember that???
Madison would have said that was good dirt.
We actually talked about that very story about Madison. Gracie has started licking everything too!!
Are Aarons legs really that bad??? Ashlys shoulders look horrible. What a good time we all had!! We really need to go next August. That will be so fun. Maybe we can even talk Chad into coming again???
Sunburns already huh?! I swear I never know what to do- they say too much sunblock isn't good- we need vitamin D, but then if you happen to forget of course that's the time some one gets fried!
