The second day of our trip we spent the whole day in California Adventures. It started off with my favorite ride, Soaring over California. Then we got soaked!! We went on Grizzly River Rapids. We had to split up on every ride that the babies were too small to ride, so Aaron and I took the kids the first go. We did pretty good, only a little wet. Kayt and Aaron got the worst of it, but it was so fun. Jill and Chad were supposed to take the next turn, but Chad is afraid of the water?. So I dared it again. This time was a different story. We got soaked!!! All of us. I don't think Olivia had a dry spot on her body! Good thing it was early in the day and HOT!!
We decided to be really brave and try the Tower of Terror. McKinley wanted to go! I was so surprised. She was so brave, and it was so much fun. Olivia was next to be brave, she rode the Roller Coaster!!! It even went upside down! Then it was Carters turn. He was so big and brave and rode the Merry go Round!
It was such a hot day. We spent a lot of the day trying to stay in the shade or getting wet. We had yummy corn dogs for dinner. They were about a foot long, and just as yummy as I remember. We watched the electrical parade. It made me want to cry. I love that! I remember watching it when I was little.
We spent a little shopping time Downtown Disney. We only lost one kid, Carter. He was lost for a while, and I think he was scared. The kids bought lots of junk that will break this week, but they also bought cute stuffed characters that I'm sure they won't ever stop hugging. Ha Ha.
The best part of the day....the mullets were out in full force. I am not kidding. We saw gray ones, mohawk ones (my favorite), total 80's ones, old man ones and if there is such a thing, normal ones. Here are a few pictures. I tried really hard but couldn't always get my camera out in time.

Holy mullets is right!!!! Carter, I'm so proud of you for braving the carousel!! Too bad you didn't have on your Mickey ears.... I love seeing the pictures of all of you and that Gracie is growing up so much. Can't wait for tomorrow!!! Love You
Disneyland is the perfect Mullet watching venue! It attracts ALL types!
Sounds like you guys had a good time, glad you found Carter, it just wouldn't be same without him. :)
People watching is by far my favorite part of amusement parks - I could just sit on a bench and watch for hours!! Kinda makes you realize, "Hey we're not that bad!"
I wonder if those mullet heads were all from Utah County.....
Cute pictures. You are inspiring me to take a surprise vacation. Wait, we just got back.
Jill, your baby is sooo cute and getting bigger already! What a fun family vacation. Ben and I are trying to decide where we should take the kids this summer. That is so funny you said "the kids bought lots of junk that will break this week". We can all relate!
Mullets should be banned! What a fun trip! We are going for a week, and then spending a week in San Diego with Darrell's grandparents. I can't wait- I thnk i get just as excited to go to Disneyland as the kids!!
I'm so proud of you for taking pictures of the mullets. That's awesome.
And it looks like Aaron has found his most favorite stuffed toy that he'll never stop hugging - Gracie!
It just wouldn't be a theme park without mullets. Gotta love 'em.
