Dirty Kids

Wow, what a weekend! We had a total blast. I have never seen my children so dirty! As you can see Kendal, McKinley and Halli just finished a long ride on the Rhino. We even got some fishing in on Sunday. We didn't catch anything, but it was still a good Sunday activity. We played a lot of Canasta, ate a lot of s'mores, rode dirt bikes lots, ate a lot of junk food and just enjoyed being together without cel phones (YEAH!!!) or work. I think Gracie liked the cabin, she slept through the night, every night. She also got to see a campfire for the first time. She liked the flames but not the smoke. Don't worry, she skipped the dirt bike rides. We could have left the other kids there and they wouldn't have even missed us. I think we only saw them when it was time to eat. We had to search Duck Creek for them when it was time to go. They had so much fun. I hope you guys had a great time at the Cemetery. I thought about you all day. Chuck-a-Rama was no way as good as Julie's BBQ.

One more thing, Why is it that when we were kids we watched Goonies and laughed our butts off, but when your own kids watch it, you realize that every other word is a swear word? But it is still as funny as it was when you were a kid. My kids love it as much as we did. Is it because I let them watch a movie that has so many swear words, or is it really that funny?
