Well, the drama should end right? He is finally 11!!! My sweet Carter. Birthdays are so fun. I'm trying harder to be a "cool" mom (Hey Jen, weren't we going to get shirts made that said that?). So, being the cool mom I am, I gave Carter breakfast in bed. French toast of course. He opened his cool presents. A keyboard with volume that turns way down. Cool new vans and cool t-shirts. Then after I volunteered all day at the school I checked him out, to take him to lunch. Cool mom. So, where did he want to go for lunch? IHOP, to get what, french toast. After he played on his new keyboard (with the volume up) I fixed him his favorite dinner. Yep, you guessed it, french toast. I did
make him have candles in a cake and not french toast. We had a fun day. If there is one important lesson I have learned by having Gracie, it is that children grow faster than I can imagine. So, I have tried really hard lately to make every important moment a good memory. I remember those fun times when my mom would surprise us and check
us out of school. If I still remember those times maybe Carter will always remember his french toast Birthday.
This is Carters fan club. Kendal is the cute girl, farthest left.

Wow, looks like you guys had way fun. Kendal is a doll! I'm glad Carter's piano has volume. Not that I didn't love hearing that same song over and over and over.... He is really good, though. Happy Birthday!!!
