Wet friends vs. Dry ones

Well you asked for it. Self portrait Tuesday. Wet friends are as good as dry ones. The best thing about good friends is that you love each other no matter how you look or smell sometimes. I am so grateful for good friends. Old and New. Of course, the "oldest" friend I have is Jen. She is old...er than me. And she is irreplaceable. I have to say the oldest friends I have happen to also be my Mom, sisters and sister in law. Without each other we wouldn't have any fun memories to tease Troy about. Poor guy. I have to say the hardest times I have is when I have to say goodbye to them. I miss their daily companionship so much. Living so far away from family I needed something to help ease the pain. The Lord knew that. So he sent me angels disguised as friends. Not just a few friends, but a whole slew of them. They are willing to help out in a moments notice. For example, take kids to IHOP, clean house, do laundry, bring dinner, throw a shower, invite kids over to play and all of this just while I was on bed rest. Just imagine the things they do for me when I am able to pay them back. I also learn so much from their example and their testimonies. It is so great to have good friends. I think it is about time for a Cheesecake run girls. Love you all.
