We had a great week off school. I took the kids to Red Rock to hike Lost Creek. The waterfall was neat, and nobody fell in the water...on accident. Gracie decided she wanted to walk in the water. We took her shoes and socks off and one step into the freezing cold water, she changed her mind!
On Thursday night the Johnson crew all showed up! We roasted hot dogs and smores. Aaron was in charge of the fire. He told the kids we are lucky because we get to enjoy our Christmas tree more than once. Once in December and once in April. These flames are only 1/4 of the tree.
Friday was Lauren's Birthday. Tyson had prepared the whole day just for her. He wanted it his way. That made Aaron want to do it Aaron's way. So, she got Aaron's birthday celebration too. Which included waking up to 7 little kids, each with a can of silly string. It was awesome, kinda reminded her of her wedding day. Then the girls got pedicures, lunch and shopping, while Tyson worked on his secret project. A 12 layer round birthday cake! I love this picture. Why are the men frosting the cake? June wanted to all write down what time it would tip over. It only took just over 24 hours to come crashing down.
Do you think 5 doz eggs is enough? It was!
Easter morning was great! We were missing the Matriarch of our family. She had a little allergic reaction to something and spent a little time in the Hospital. She loves holidays and seeing the Grand kids. It made us sad she missed it. She got out just in time for the Egg Hunt!
Carter only wanted chap stick from the bunny, but he is excited to try out stripey swim suit this year.
Gracie had her chocolate bunny for breakfast!
Thanks Johnson's for coming. We had such a good time. It is always fun to have family around any holiday. Sorry about the April Fools day joke. We will let you know in one week what flavor the baby is. Hope you all had a great Easter!

BTW, I think we have the exact same due date. Lucky for you you get to find out what you're having next week. We have to wait three more before we know. Hope you're feeling well!
K first off until THIS MOMENT I THOUGHT IT WAS A GIRL!!! I told Travis like 3 times I couldn't believe you had found out already! And does Carter look at your blog? Cuz he may not be too happy with the "just outta bed" look in his pic :)
