Ha Ha Ha

Gracie loves Yo Gabba Gabba. I love it because it gives me 1/2 hour of freedom from the barnacle. She sings all the songs. You know them:

  • Use your inside voice
  • Happy Birthday
  • Keep Trying
  • There's a party in my tummy
  • Get the sillies out

Our personal favorite:

  • Don't bite your friends

Last night we were all watching Survivor and Boomer was playing with a dog stuffed animal. Gracie leaned over the couch and pointed at him and sang, "Don't, don't, don't bite your friends"! I thought we were all going to die laughing. Is she her father's child or what? I swear she has his sense of humor!

I HATE YGG. So stupid. But Maggie still sings the song, "Try it, and then you'll like it..". I guess it does teach them something.

I didn't realize she had become your barnacle. I feel that pain for sure.

Oh, my gosh, I miss that girl. She can come here and be my barnacle!

LOL! That is so cute! Maybe I need to have my little Brylee watch that show. She has a problem with biting - not her friends, but her sisters. She says it is okay though, because she is really a vampire. No more Twilight for her! I guess I will need to push the Yo Gabba Gabba!

Sydney is addicted to Yo Gabba Gabba too! Yesterday I found myself singing "It is Fall" as I was walking through the parking lot at Walmart. You gotta give it to them for coming up with catchy songs!

Clearly it has been too long since I had little ones...I have no idea what you all are talking about.

Sounds funny though.

Well at least the stupid songs are teaching Gracie something. So two positives; a break for you and a lesson for Gracie. So cute! Hope you had a happy halloween. I hear Gracie was Lily :)

We love that show at our house too. On channel 109 it's 2 episodes back to back so I get one whole hour of reprieve.
Mason sings the songs all the time and puts his own twists on them - like the one day I asked him to clean up a mess and he sang, "Don't, Don't, Don't be Obedient!"
