Red, White and Blue!

Every year for the 4th of July we have a Johnson collaboration at the Ranch in Vernal. Our kids look forward to it every year! I guess we do too! Living in Vegas we don't get to see some of the Johnson's except at the ranch. We braved the rain and slept in a tent. It was great. We decided to sleep up there so we could get as much time there as we could. There are so many people that we can't all stay in the cabin. We usually get a hotel room in town, but then we don't get up there until the afternoon, and we leave after dinner. Staying in a tent we could be up early and stay up late with everyone. It was a good choice.

Gracie found a new friend, Booda. She says his name and loves to pet him. He is a good goggy. She would keep pretty good track of wherever he was.

Usually every year we have a water fight. It was pretty cold and rainy, so most of us got out of it this year.

Uncle Andy put together a fun water balloon launcher. I got this picture of a balloon perfectly aimed to go between Calebs legs!

We had plenty of skits including this gesture in honor of Uncle Wayne retiring. He taught everyone how to flip the bird.

Sounds like tons of fun. I always hate to stay somewhere away from everyone else...you always feel like your missing out on whatever happens late at night.

Just what we should teach our childrenat family gatherings...How to tell someone where to go with your hand. :) Funny! Aaron's family sounds a lot like yours.
