Monday night was just like any other FHE. "What do you want to do?" "I don't know? What do you want to do?" Finally, we read an inspiring story in the friend about a girl who escaped a swarm of yellow jackets by listening to the spirit.
Then it started raining. Not just a little. A.lot. Aaron said, "Let's go drive around in the rain and get sundae's at McDonalds". The first intersection we came to on Decatur and Grand Teton was a lake! With swimmers even. A car had gotten in the water too deep and stalled, duh. The boys inside had gotten out, duh. It was to their waists! We ran back home so I could get my camera and take a picture, but by the time we got there they had been pulled out. Fire dept. and all! The picture wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The flash made it hard to see and without a flash the shutter stayed open too long so it was blurry. I should have grabbed the kids camera. A little further down we saw a boy on a raft floating down the river that used to be a road. The truck would spray water so far! It was the funnest thing we have ever done for FHE since last week on the slip and slide!

And I thought FHE had to be all spiritual and crap.
Tell Aaron good job on the sundaes. He's my hero!
FHE is anything your family does together...Right? Add a prayer and call it FHE.
A teenager in my Sunday School Class said, "Sometimes we watch the Bachelorette and have dessert...I'm not gonna lie." Funny Huh. That's my kind of FHE. :)
We have done that in Vegas before but we were some of the people that got stuck. Lorin was driving so go figure.
Sounds like our FHE nights, just have fun together!
