I remember last year at this time. It sucked. About as bad as it does this year. All those commercials that want you to spend money on the most important person in your life, your Mother. Except some of us don't have one anymore and that makes me cry. But then I think about all the lucky ones who do still have one. And I'm a little jealous.
So, the last week or so I have been thinking about what I am grateful for in the Mom area. I decided that, if you don't mind, I am going to be a little cheesy this week and tell you about all the Mom's in my life. You see, when my Mom died I actually gained a whole lotta Momma's. None of course that could completely fill the deep void that was left when she died, but all together they almost fill it up. I decided instead of feeling sorry for myself, I am going to try and be grateful for what I have.

Hey, I just realized that we're going to be there for Mother's Day this weekend. What should we do to make it fun?
I'm excited to hear about the moms in your life. Also, don't forget that YOU are a fan-damn-tastic mom. That is a happy thing, too.
I have to second Lauren (even though I don't know her) she is totally right and I love her word :) you are a fan-damn-tastic mom and about the cutest pregnant lady I have ever seen! Let's go to lunch this week and celebrate being mommas :)
I will share mine if you want! ;) ( I am talking about Sara of course)
So, my roommate logged me out of my blogger. That last comment was from me. Whoops
What a really good idea!
Do you remember the Mother's Day before mom died I did that Mother's Day Week post? Every day of the week before Sunday. And the last day was all about our mom. Do you think that was a little inspired? Crazy. I read back to it all the time, and it makes me laugh, all the memories we thought of that made her so "her".
Man, I miss her.
