There is a rule at our house: NO EATING OR DRINKING ANYTHING ON CARPET. This rule was put into place when our children were born. It isn't a new rule, but somehow they think if they sneak up the stairs the back way we won't know they snuck it upstairs. I have to admit sometimes I let it slide. If it is a bottle of water it can't really hurt, or if I am done with kids and I just want them to bed. Yesterday morning when I woke the girls up Olivia was sleeping on a towel. I asked her why? "I spilled my Gatorade". Seriously? I gave them a pep talk about the rule and told them a water bottle was fine but nothing else.
Skip to this morning. I went to wake up the girls (sound familiar). McKinley was covered with something. It was all over her face. I thought at first she had a bloody nose in the night. Not so, it was chocolate! She had fallen asleep on a dark chocolate square. I was laughing to hard to get mad. Instead I took a picture.
I made her go into my room and show Aaron. He laughed and said, "That's the chocolate I gave you". It is him. He is sneaking candy up to them after they go to bed. I think he should have to wash the sheets.

That is the funniest thing I have ever seen! One time when I was little on Halloween night I fell asleep with a sugar daddy sucker and when I woke up it was stuck in my hair! My mother has a picture of it. Mckinley does not look very happy!
My face is breaking out just looking at that picture!
And of course it's Aaron. He's such a troublemaker.

I just have to say that if one of my kids woke up in the morning covered in a strange, dark brown substance, my first thought would have been poop!

That is such a funny picture! You have to pull that out when she's engaged and show her fiance. That's a good way to get back at her.
