I am a little behind, so I must post twice today. I am so proud of my kids. Last week, being the last week of school, each of my kids had an awards assembly. They each received the straight A honor roll award! It makes me so happy that the fight everyday after school, to get homework done, paid off. Now if I can just remember this feeling next year everyday after school. McKinley also received the Art award. Carter was the big winner, he received the Art award, the Music award (of course), and he received an award for music ensemble as the kid who didn't hit the wrong note all year. It was pretty emotional for all the ensemble kids to play for the last time at Thursday morning opening. Oh to be 5th grade and think elementary school won't go on without them. Last week was so much fun because everyday was a party. They had Luau's and dances (!!! the dance post will come another day, oh yea I got pictures) and donut parties. I spent every minuet they did at the school (so did Meg a couple of days). It was a lot of fun, but it was really hard for my girls to say goodbye to their teachers. They really have made a difference in their lives this year.
P.S. McKinley finally made something. Next year she will be part of the 3rd grade choir!

What good kids you have. Congrats to Kinney for making Choir. It's always good for them to be involved in something. Now that soccer is over, I think tennis is taking it's place. Can't wait to see you guys!
Way to go, Kinney! I knew you would make it! Don't tell me, you say Unwritten for your song??? Ha Ha Ha
