Really?

I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted anything. We have had 3 birthdays, 3 vacations and a lot of cute Gracie moments since the last post.

Carter turned 14! Wahoo! Stake dances! Teachers Quorum! He is so happy. Since he is my favorite son I can gloat about him. He is such a good kid. I always say that to people and I think they think I'm trying to convince myself of it, but I'm not. He really is a great kid. He spent last week at EFY at Provo BYU. I was a little worried about all the classes and spiritual stuff, but amazingly those were his favorite things. Well, and the girls. Now he gets to start his summer off on a spiritual high.

Olivia turned 10. Double digits! I don't think there are enough books in the world to keep her reading. She takes 2 or 3 to bed with her because she likes to read more than one at a time. She got a cute haircut and highlights! More blond, bring it on. She has giggled more than I thought possible in the last 3 weeks with cousins. Can anyone say time for Ritalin?

I also had a birthday. Wow! Just want I wanted, a day to be reminded again that I am old, and pregnant. I was amazed at all the birthday wishes I got on facebook and lots of texts. Made me think of all the amazing people I have in my life.

Aaron's brother Jason got married on May 20. It was a Thursday, so we headed out for SLC about 8pm on Wednesday. If you can add, that gave us an arrival time of 3am. Only to get a couple hours of sleep and be to the SLC Temple at 8:30am. It was a fantastic day. The next morning we headed up to the cabin. On the way there Gracie asked us if the cabin was inside or outside? We weren't really sure how to answer that. It was 3 days of bliss. Dirt bikes, guns, sand, cows and Johnson's. Pretty blissful. Gracie wanted to bring a baby cow home for a pet, but we explained that it wouldn't fit through the doggie door.

We had so much fun that on the way home Aaron decided he was going to work really hard so that we could go back over Memorial Day. I didn't believe it would really happen, I was wrong. Friday afternoon we jumped in the car and made the 9 hour drive AGAIN to Vernal. Once I got there I was so glad we did. On Monday we drove back home but got to stop at the Cemetery and Julie's. It was fun to see everyone.

I was home for just enough time to do laundry and repack for 10 days in SLC. It was a great time. We had Gabe's baptism, birthday parites, EFY, trip to Clearfield, La Luna, Lagoon, girls trip, and a whole lota family time. It was so fun, but I am so glad to be back home.

And we can't wait to have you back in 10 more days! Gretta woke up this morning asking for Gracie. She must have needed a fight to start off her day.
